Training of Regional Coordinators on project BGLD-3.001-0001 “Novel Approaches to Generating Data on hard-to-reach populations at risk of violation of their rights”
Training of the regional coordinators (training of trainers) was held at the NSI Training Center in Slivek village, Lovech district under the project BGLD-3.001-0001 Novel Approaches to Generating Data on hard-to-reach populations at risk of violation of their rights”. The Regional Coordinators are responsible for organizing the forthcoming household survey at regional level. The survey will cover a wide range of issues related to vulnerable groups, and the results will be the basis for developing specific indicators, analyzes and thematic publications.
The training was divided into two stages – for representatives of the Statistical Surveys departments of the Territorial Statistical Offices of northern Bulgaria in February 24-26, 2020 and respectively for representatives of southern Bulgaria in February 26-28. Lecturers were the NSI’s leading social surveys methodologists who developed the survey toolkit, as well as representatives of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA). The methodology of the study, the specific definitions and categories contained in the questionnaire were explained in details. The training was also practically aimed at presenting the electronic data collection application, as the survey method should be fully electronic.
In the next two weeks will be held 28 regional interviewers’ trainings.
