The national representative survey among households under the project BGLD-3.001-0001 “Novel Approaches to Generating Data on hard-to-reach populations at risk of violation of their rights” was successfully completed
The survey was conducted within the project BGLD-3.001-0001 “Novel Approaches to Generating Data on hard-to-reach populations at risk of violation of their rights”, funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014 – 2021 ( EEA FM) under the program “Local development, poverty reduction and improved inclusion of vulnerable groups”. It is implemented in partnership with the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights.
Despite the complicated situation in the country due to the measures for limitation on the spreading of COVID-19, in the period from 19 May to 17 September 2020, 26,600 people aged 15 and over and 3,600 children were interviewed. Based on the data from the survey, strategic analytical documents will be developed applicable for the political decisions, planning of the adequate social policies, development of the target indicators for Operational Programs, as well as monitoring the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The developed documents can be used in other countries in the region with similar social and economic development.
The National Statistical Institute thanks all households and individuals who demonstrated understanding and empathy for participating in the survey!
